NEW YORK CITY — Sustainable furniture brand Sabai has its first IRL (in real life) space. The pop-up site is the first time customers have been able to touch and see Sabai’s product line of sustainable sofas and chairs.

Located at 347 Broome Street, New York, the pop up is open through Saturday, May 28.

Sabai partnered with two other sustainability-focused companies Cambium Carbon and Floorfound, which powers Sabai’s resale program. In addition to seeing Sabai’s furniture in person, visitors can learn about the circular economy and how each of the brands engage with it.

Sabai is a Black and Asian women-owned sustainable furniture brand of flat-packed, affordable, and sustainable pieces. It uses sustainable materials in all pieces and last year launched the first furniture buyback program in the U.S., facilitated by FloorFound.

FloorFound focuses on helping to protect the planet by extending the lifecycle of oversized retail products. Its end-to-end Recommerce platform and extensive warehouse network simplify the complexities of oversized returns and resale.

Cambium Carbon uses technology to establish local wood supply chains. It turns trees salvaged from landfills into Carbon-Smart Wood products that build a circular economy.
